Yearning

I want to be congruent like cookie cutters, and not misshapen and disposed like burnt confections. I want to be cliche. I want to be secure like trees planted in perfect lawns with unbroken windows and trimmed hedges. I want to be crisp like starched collars, I want to have more dollars. I want a marble countertop, unchipped and smooth. I want to never feel broken and never feel used. I want to wear college sweatshirts and hang up a certificate that validates my dreams. I don't want to be nasty I want to be clean. I want to take photos against a foreign landscape with cute captions. I want my happiness to never be fleeting, and only be lasting. I want to know how and not always be learning. I want to be fulfilled and not incessantly yearning.
